Flower & Garden Show


The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show is ranked in the top five flower shows in the world.  The world renowned flower and garden show is now regarded as the largest and most successful horticultural event in the Southern Hemisphere.

As a part the Landscape Design module in my Horticulture Diploma with Holmesglen Tafe, my “Salsa!” Mexican Inspired Garden Design got accepted into the Show, so I got to build my design!

The aim when designing this Mexican inspired garden was to create an outdoor area that is both filled with colour to enlighten the senses and a relaxing space you look forward to coming home to!  To suit our Melbourne climate, the design also makes use of a low maintenance, waterwise plant selection.
